FOR FOR SCGA TOURNAMENTS
The Silver Creek Golf Association
is an independent organization and is comprised of both male and female
golfers. The Association coordinates several tournaments throughout the
year. A schedule of those
tournaments for the current year is listed above. In addition to coordinating these events,
the Association adds prize money to the purse in varying amounts, depending
on the tournament.
You
may join the Association at the Silver Creek Pro Shop. The cost is
$15. At that time you will receive a letter
further explaining the Association.
The Pro Shop can also assist you with setting up a course handicap.

2 person teams - pick your own partner - no more than 10 stroke differential on course handicap between partners; if more, handicap will be adjusted to player with lower handicap. (Two) 2 person teams will be combined to create a four person team. The Tournament Committee will pair the teams to make the foursomes

$85 - Association members only. (OWNERS - $42. SILVER CREEK MEMBERS - $57). Non-Association players see the Pro Shop on the benefits of joining the Association. Cash or Check ONLY.

2008 MATCH PLAY

WHEN:
|
Play will begin on June 7th. Championship Matches will be held from August 16th thru August 30th.
|
|
FORMAT:
|
Limited to the first 64 players to sign up. Handicaps as of June 1, 2008 will be the maximum handicap used in all matches. If a player's handicap drops, the
lower handicap will be used for subsequent matches.
You will be guaranteed at least two matches. Players who lose in the first round will drop to the Losers Bracket.
Players in either bracket losing in the second round are out of the competition. each player will be responsible for contacting other players for scheduling their match. A sign-up sheet with available days for each player to play will be posted. If a player has tried at least twice and cannot schedule an agreeable time to play a match with an opponent, it will be that player's responsiblity to contact the SCGA Tournament Committee who will determine which player will be awarded a win. All rounds must be completed within the two week period allowed.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible to play
in the 2008 Club Championship/President's Cup, you must;
A. Be an owner or member of Silver Creek
Golf Club, or
B. Be a member of the Silver Creek Golf Association, maintain a
handicap at Silver Creek Golf Club and have played in at least one
Association event during 2008 as outlined in your event book. Men and Ladies Day do not constitute an Association event.

Players can win both gross and net on one hole.
